Pricking
Miracles

At home, television presenter Walter Peña was getting ready to, as usual, read the morning news to his audience on a local channel.  He put on his bath robe, headed to the bathroom and started his hygienic routine. “Everything seemed normal until I brushed my teeth. I saw in the mirror how the water was pouring out of my mouth and I did not feel it.  I tried to close my mouth and it was impossible.  All the nerves of the left side of my face were paralyzed.”

He called on his medic brother-in-law to confirm the tragedy.  Feeling his job was at risk, Peña asked for a second opinion and seeked treatment with Dr. Liang Wei Jun, a Chinese acupuncturist, who had relieved and cured him from a "bad back-ache" two years ago.  “It took me two weeks to recover facial movement, now I can talk and work thanks to Dr. Liang", says Peña.

Presidents, entrepreneurs, doctors, artists and maids; the rich and the poor; religious and atheistic people seek Dr. Liang's healing hands and faithfully stand the pain of needles inserted "without anesthesia" into different parts of their bodies with only one hope: "To be cured from sickness traditional medicine failed to cure".

"In the beginning, it is Chinese torture, but I assure you, it was worth it", recalls Bolivian Times Publisher, Peter McFarren, one of Dr. Wei's many patients and life long friend.  The Chinese acupuncturist works eight hours a day, seven days a week.  His patients’ lobby is always crowded and he treats every patient with the same care and friendliness.

Elia de Fernandez, 45, had her last baby in May 2001.   While moving her from surgery to her room, a careless nurse injured her sciatic nerve.   “The pain in my right leg and hip was so unbearable, I stayed prostrated in bed for two months, I could not laugh or cough, I could not even move to use the bathroom."

Fernandez visited  "all kinds of doctors, oncologists, psychologists... with no result".

At first the treatment with Dr. Wei was "very painful".

"He used five thirty centimeter long needles and punctured them into my right buttock".

But being able to walk "right after that moment" made her forget she was sick.

Most of Dr. Wei's patients are skeptical in the beginning.  Asier Bengoa, a twenty-one year old Spanish citizen, says he is “more used to traditional medicine.” “1 don't believe in miracles.  But the pains in my back were so intense and apparently irreparable I said: 'Let's try acupuncture”.

The treatment and uncertainty lasted three days.

"It has surprised me, I still feel some distressing sensations, but I must say it has solved my problem".

"Acupuncture is the gem of traditional Chinese medicine”, says Zhu Hanzhang, an expert in Small Needle Scalpel Therapy.

For several thousand years it has played an important role in China's existence.  Dr. Wei inherited the art of curing with needles from many famous acupuncturists that passed knowledge from generation to generation.

Dr. Hildergard Kruger, the Bolivian representative for the Konrad-Adenauer-Foundation is another of Dr. Wei's grateful patients.  In a letter written in 1996, Dr. Kruger reports of an old spinal column malformation that "not only troubled my daily life, but almost paralyzed my left arm and hand”.

Some of the experts Dr. Kruger consulted recommended cortisone "with very negative results for  my health”.

After being treated by eminent professors in Germany, she decided to try acupuncture. The treatment consisted of needle insertion and massages given by  Dr. Wei's wife, Dr. Yi Xian Wang.

"I would like to thank you for straightening my spinal column with natural medicine that did not cause side effects," Dr. Kruger said in her letter.

Dr. Wei has been working miracles and curing the impossible since 1987 "when I was invited by the President Victor Paz. Estenssoro".

In his 15 years of acupuncturist practice, Dr. Wei has improved his techniques and has started to combine Small  Needle  Scalpel Therapy and Chinese massage to relieve his patients’ pains. Asked to describe his secret Dr. Wei said: "Everything I am is to be told by my patients, those testimonies and references say more  than whatever I can say about myself."

**********************************

Small. Needle Scalpel Therapy has come into being in the last 27 years.  It is well known that this therapy is a new therapeutic method for treating obstinate Osteotraumatic conditions of the soft  tissues, but its theoretical base and the academic thought is less understood.

It may reasonably be said that small needle scalpel therapy is not a simple therapeutic method, but is developed on the basis of a new theoretical system consisting of four aspects:

1. The theory of systematic closed surgery.
2. New progress in acupuncture.
3. The systematic study of the pathogenesis of chronic soft tissue lesions.
4. The new pathogenesis of hyperplasia of  bone.

The small needle scalpel is a medical instrument designed on the principles enunciated by the above mentioned theories, and on the clinical requirements.  It is through the wide use of small needle scalpel therapy to cure thousands upon thousands of patients that all theories underlying small needle scalpel therapy have proved to be practicable and correct.

Many acupuncturists who have established a large practice by using small needle scalpel came to the conclusion that the diseases that can be cured by acupuncture are responsive to the small needle scalpel therapy with more effective results.

Roughly about one year ago, I suffered from Sciatic nerve pains, which ran from my hip down to my foot. After having taken medicines and pills, which only irritated my stomach, I decided to visit Dr. Liang, who practices Acupuncture. The treatment started with the needless as well as with the suction cups. After three days, the pain was alleviated between the knee and my foot, a section that hurt and felt very tired (apparently through lack of good blood circulation).

I also had an internal operation, without external wounds (Acupuntumology) on my hip, which considerably alleviated the pain, which eventually left me cured. The necessary time required for curing, depends on the intensity of the discomfort, also depending on the person’s age, and length of time suffering.

Should you be considering visiting Dr. Liang, do not wait any longer, as Dr. Liang is only passing through Arequipa, and it would be worthwhile trying his specialized treatment. One more client who is very satisfied with the treatment! Anthony Gomez C Holley, Arequipa, Peru.
