The coalition warrior interoperability (CWID) trial is an annual event where future technology can be exercised in a military context.
Ask ITs Done are delighted, once again, to provide assistance to the core engineering team in terms of:
- Certificate services throughout all UK domains with common exercise root CA. This included cross-certification with the TSCP test root to allow secure collaboration with TSCP partners.
- Directory synchronisation services within the UK (fixed/deployed forest GAL sync, enterprise directory provision and Cisco Unified Call Manager integration) and also internationally.
The solution, usually built on our directory solution toolkit, was enhanced this year by the use of ISODE’s Sodium Sync. The whole system comprises components configured and snapped into an execution framework assuring no change goes un-promulgated longer than an hour. We also provide our web based interface, exposed on the coalition WAN for easy lookup of nations/units/roles IP telephone numbers, email addresses and descriptions
